Alongside my artistic work, I've built a career supporting executive leadership and managing complex operations. That experience has strengthened the skills I bring into every creative room: organization, collaboration, communication, and the ability to help ideas move from concept to completion. I love working where creativity and structure meet because great stories need both.
Hi, I'm Edmillie.
I'm a writer, actor, creative developer, and director with a deep curiosity for what it means to be human. Through theatre, film, and television, I'm interested in the nuances of everyday people and the questions that shape our relationships, our identities, and the people we become.
My Journey
My creative journey began as an actor before expanding into playwriting, directing, and creative development. Through experiences like Manhattan Theatre Club's Write Now program, the New York Play Festival, and independent film and theatre projects, I've had the opportunity to develop original work, collaborate with emerging artists, and help shape stories from their earliest ideas to production.
What I believe
At the heart of everything I do is a desire to understand people more deeply. Whether I'm developing a new script, collaborating with artists, or meeting someone for the first time, I believe understanding begins by asking better questions. I write to reveal humanity, not judge it, and I hope that same spirit of curiosity lives beyond my work—in the conversations it inspires.
